ABOUT ME

I grew up always knowing that I wanted to help people in some way and after learning rather quickly that the medical field was not for me, I instead got my degree in massage therapy in Arizona before moving to NYC.

I fell into the fast pace of the city and with that came many different jobs of bartending, hospitality, management and where I found one of my greatest passions, in working with children. I nannied during the week for a family with a young toddler and a baby on the way and that led to 8 wonderful years of child development experience within one household. During which time I also developed a business providing domestic services and holistic therapies to other families in Brooklyn. Over the years I knew that I had more work to do exploring different modalities of healing and after spending a summer in Peru, I knew that alternative medicine was my highest calling. However, the pandemic had different ideas and over the past 6 years I found myself helping my grandmother battle cancer successfully, working as a live-in nanny/tutor and chef while the world shut down;

and during isolation, I also taught myself how to make jewelry using electricity and science. I fell in love with creating and when the borders opened I moved to Mexico to study traditional metal-working techniques as well. I've learned over the years to flow with wherever this universe takes me, and later found myself working as a private chef for a summer in Lake Placid, New York - which then led to the past 3 years of elderly and dementia care.

Now I have found my home here in Maplewood, NJ and I'm looking forward to what this next chapter brings!
